Nifty Archive Terms and Conditions of Use
This document describes terms and conditions for using Nifty Erotic Stories Archive (Nifty) World Wide Web (www) servers. There is also a copyright document that covers usage of the underlying Nifty Archive stories and categorization.
The purpose of this document it to explain our actions in protecting the resources of our www servers. Systems (described below) which cause additional and/or unnecessary strain on our servers are strongly discouraged and users and/or sites that do not follow these guidelines may be banned from using the site.
Please try to follow the rules, as it will provide for speedier use of the site for everyone. Many of the systems (described below) can cause other users to be unable to access our site so these measures are taken to help our users in general. The following terms and conditions relate to usage of our www services this page be read in conjunction with our Copyright notice and general terms. The list should not be considered comprehensive or final, we reserve the right to alter it at any time.
User access to Nifty www servers is restricted to conventional non-accelerated browsers. So called web-accelerator products such as NetJet, NetSonic, MSIECrawler and Teleport-Pro are not permitted. If you are using a product or browser feature that claims to significantly speed up page downloads then that is most likely a web-accelerator and it must not be used while browsing Nifty www servers.
Web-accelerators consume vast amounts of bandwidth and server resources. We are able to detect use of these systems and we can ban all future connections from offenders.
Robots and crawlers need to follow the robot guidelines (found at http://www.robotstxt.org/wc/robots.html). Robots that ignore the guidelines are easily detected and banned.
If you are using a robot/crawler to check Nifty links, please make sure it operates according to the robot guidelines (see above). Please take special care to ensure that new robots aren't left unattended. 1 minute is the minimum safe interval between automated requests.
Written permission must be obtained before Nifty content can be filtered/altered (e.g. automatic removal of banners.). Failure to gain permission will be deemed a copyright violation. For further information please read our copyright document.

Written permission is required before Nifty graphics can be placed on external sites. This includes copying the graphics and serving them from our site.
